Vincent Calabrese

The inventor of the renowned Corum Golden Bridge, Vincent Calabrese lives a live in perpetual motion – dedicated to poetic, mechanical and philosophical research. He first discovered his love for watches at a young age of 14, back in Naples when he found work as an apprentice in a watchmaker’s shop.

In 1961, at the age of 17,  he left Italy for Switzerland to hone his skills as a watchmaker, working with different watch brands  to develop unique timepieces before starting his own brand a decade ater.

Vincent is commited to producing complications that are both technically impressive and visually appealing. With over thirty patents worldwide, the Golden Bridge timepiece reflects his vision to create a movement never before accomplished – one with linear gear trains visible via a transparent exterior.
